This beautiful brassavola and cattleya hybrid just bloomed:
I wasn’t sure this one would make it through winter, things were such a disaster after the garage door was inadvertently left open on a 20 degree night–
But survive it did–One if my favorite orchids; the lip is wonderfully dramatic on this flower–Vida Lee has so far proven to have a fairly high constitution and vigor–I grow it in bright light on our deck with several hours of direct late day sun and water an average of every two days in summer–
